July 15, 2005 – King’s College junior Elizabeth Stella is recipient of the full-tuition  William G. McGowan Scholarship for the 2005-06 academic year. Stella is majoring in international business and Spanish.

Stella, from Exeter, Pa., is a member of the Aquinas Society, the King’s College honor society; and Epsilon Chi Omicron, the international honor society in International Business. The McGowan Scholarship is awarded to full-time students who are pursuing their primary major with the McGowan School of Business, are entering their senior year at the college, have achieved a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0, and have submitted an essay on the contributions McGowan made to today’s business world or to the telecommunications field. In addition, candidates for the scholarship must be nominated by at least one faculty member of the business school.
