April 6, 2005 - The arrival of spring
2005 is something to sing about, and the King’s College choir will perform a
repertoire ranging from the Renaissance period to contemporary gospel music in
celebration of the spring season during their annual Spring Concert on Friday
April 15 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 16, at 3 p.m. in the J. Carroll McCormack
Campus Ministry Center.
Cantores Christi Regis, the 23-member choral group of King’s College, under the direction of Robert Yankowski, has performed widely at campus celebrations and special local programs. This spring’s selections include Baciai per haver vita, Embraceable You, Praise His Holy Name, and The Road Not Taken.
The Cantores Christi Regis Spring Concert is free and open to the public. The group’s performance is part of King’s Experiencing the Arts series.
