For release Nathan Ward named director of the Office of College Diversity at King’s College August 4, 2010 – King’s College has appointed Nathan Ward director of the Office of College Diversity. His primary responsibilities will be to enhance the multicultural environment of the College community through co-curricular initiatives and programs that address the needs and interests of a culturally diverse population. He will also develop support services, including advisement, and integrate the academic and social environment of the College and community for students of color and underrepresented students on campus. Prior to coming to King’s, Ward served as a residence director at Ursinus College, supervising more than 600 students in three residence halls. He also served as a residence coordinator in the University Housing Department at Shawnee State University. Ward earned a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree in leadership and professional advancement with a major in business administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. He also holds a certificate of sacred study in Evangelism from Eastern Bible Institute.
