For Release King’s student Benjamin Shively of Kingston wins HES design contest June 16, 2010 – Benjamin Shively of Kingston recently earned a $100 prize for the quality and innovation of marketing materials he designed for the Huntsville Executive Search (HES), located in Dallas. Shively is a junior majoring in mass communications with an emphasis in visual communication and graphic/ web design at King’s College. The recipient of a Christi Regis scholarship, Shively is a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda, the national honor society for continuing education and lifelong learning, and Lambda Pi Eta, the mass communications honor society. He is also the Web editor of “The Crown,” the College’s newspaper. While at King’s, Shively has designed posters for upcoming speaker presentations for the Mass Communications Department and developed the website for the Hispanic Outreach Program. The HES project was a King’s advanced Photoshop course assignment, in which students designed a corporate logo, capabilities profile sheet, and marketing brochure to revamp HES’s corporate identity and brand. HES is a leader in recruitment and staffing solutions for professional, technical and executive level talent seekers and job seekers, specializing in architecture /engineering, construction management, IT, finance, insurance and life sciences.
