The King’s Players to perform free children’s detective mystery play this weekend

May 11, 2010 – The King’s College Players will perform a free children’s detective story, titled “The Molasses Manor Mystery,“ at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Friday, May 14, and at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, in the King’s Theatre, located in the Administration Building on North River Street.

An original production written, produced, and performed by students in the College Theatre Department’s Children Theatre course, “The Molasses Manor Mystery” is the tale of bumbling detectives Danish and Doughnut, who must find the culprit who swiped Mr. and Mrs. Sweetreat’s secret cupcake recipe. The play, which runs approximately 45 minutes, is suitable for children and adults of all ages.
