For Immediate Release Upcoming art exhibition at King’s College highlights historic Huber Breaker, May 17-July 31 May 4, 2010 - Presented in a photographic essay, local artist Michael Mirabito’s lens captures a tapestry of light, shadows, steel and wood of the Huber Break, the buildings, and surrounding land in Ashley. Mirabito will display a variety of photographs in “The Huber Breaker: My Perspective” exhibition opening on Monday, May 17, in the Widmann Gallery at King’s College. The show, which is free and open to the public, features a meet-the-artist reception in the gallery on Friday, June 11, from 6-8 p.m. The exhibition continues through Saturday, July 31. Mirabito is a professor in the Communication Arts Department at Marywood University. His landscape photographs have been displayed at juried and non-juried group and independent shows. King’s Widmann Gallery is located in the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center, located between North Franklin and North Main streets. Gallery hours: Mon. through Fri., 9 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.; Sat. and Sun., as arranged. The Gallery is closed on national holidays and during scheduled breaks throughout the academic year.
