For Immediate Release Capitano and Catena Appointed to King’s President’s Council May 26, 2010 - Two local businessmen have been appointed to three-year terms on the King’s College President’s Council. David Capitano, regional managing partner, northern Pennsylvania, ParenteBeard LLC, Wilkes-Barre, and Cornelio Catena, chief executive officer of the Wyoming Valley Health Care System, Wilkes-Barre, were named to the 49-member council that acts as advisors to the College’s administration and helps promote King’s mission in the Wyoming Valley. A graduate of King’s College, Capitano has more than 20 years of experience in auditing, accounting and consulting for higher education institutions, not-for-profit entities, and financial institutions. He recently completed a Harvard Business School Executive Leadership Program. Catena earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and a master’s degree from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the board of the United Way of Wyoming Valley and the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania. He is also a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.King's College is a Catholic College sponsored by the Congregation of Holy Cross. |
