King’s choir to perform free spring concert

April 15, 2010- Cantores Christi Regis, the choral group of King’s College, will perform a program of classical, contemporary, sacred and secular choral music during their annual Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24, in the J. Carroll McCormick Campus Ministry Center, located on Jackson Street.

Under the direction of Robert Yenkowski, the choir will perform a variety of spiritual and gospel music. This spring’s selections include “Gloria” by Antonio Vivaldi, “Now is the Month of Maying” by Thomas Morley, “Rockin’ Jerusalem” by Andre J. Thomas, “Three Madrigals” by Emma Lou Diemer, and “Every Breath You Take” by Sting and arranged by Mark Brymer.
