About the King's College Emergency Notification System:

King's College Emergency Notification system is a mass notification system that enables College students, faculty and staff to receive alerts and updates as text messages on cell phones and via e-mails. Participation by the College community is voluntary. It is powered by Omnilert Network e2Campus. No advertisements or non-emergency alerts will be sent to the registered phones. Your information is not shared with or sold to third parties.

You must sign up for the service in order to receive alerts. Since this is a voluntary service, you may choose to opt-out of the service at any time. You MUST register again on a yearly basis any time after July 1 st in order for your registration to stay active. There is no charge for this service, however you are responsible for any text messaging charges from your wireless service provider.

This system will be used for safety and security events the College administration deems significant and for conditions that delay or close classes and offices.

King's College will make every effort to use this Emergency Notification system effectively and efficiently, but cannot guarantee subscribers will receive every message due to factors beyond the control of the college (i.e. cell phone powered off, out of cell phone service area, etc.). King's College will not be held responsible for any delays in receiving text messages. Please contact your cellular provider with any of these issues.

  Please Read Before Registering

  • You MUST create your e2Campus account first.
  • You MUST have your King's College email username (example: username@kings.edu) and password available. If you do not have a King's College username and password, click here to email HELP DESK
  • You MUST know the name of your cell phone provider/carrier (example: AT&T, Verizon etc...) and have your cell phone with you and turned on when registering.

  • You MUST fill in the registration form. Include the area code when filling in the phone number.

  • Once you submit your information, a Validation Code will be sent to your cell phone and you will be sent to a web page where you must enter this Validation Code. You MUST remain at that computer until you receive the Validation Code on your cell phone and enter it on the web page. Depending on your wireless service there could be a lengthy delay in receiving your validation code.

  • You MUST enter this code and click "Validate" to activate your account.

  • The registration process is NOT complete until you receive a validation code on on your cell phone AND enter that code on the registration site. *Nextel users have reported lengthy delays in receiving their validation code.  Please be patient.

  • If you do not receive a Validation Code by text message during the registration process, check to be sure you entered your cell phone correctly with the area code first or check with your cell provider to ensure you are registering a number with text messaging capability. Depending on your cellular provider there may be a lengthy delay in receiving your validation code.Again please be patient there could be a lengthy delay in receiving your validation code. If you accidently close your web browser or you feel that it is taking to long, You don't have to signup again, because at that point your account is already created, but before you can receive any text message you MUST Validate that your cell phone can receive text messages. To do this please log in to your e2Campus acount, click on the Services tab and then click the Validate Now link under the Status section.  

  • Registration is for 1-year. You will have to re-register again every year any time after July 1 st. If you would like to opt-out you will have to email HELP DESK.

  • Once your account is active, you can log in to your account and:
    • Change your status from active to inactive
    • Change your cell phone number
    • Change your cell phone provider
    • Add additional e-Mail/phone numbers

You will then have to enter your user name in this format: username@kings.edu and your password.

ALL USERS MUST FIRST CREATE AN ACCOUNT to register their cell phone/e-Mail.  If you attempt to login to your King’s College Emergency Notification account BEFORE you create an account, it will not work.  No previous usernames or passwords will work on this NEW system.
