King’s offers six undergraduate business majors: Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business and Marketing. Through a broad based liberal education in the Catholic tradition, business students are trained in group dynamics, creative problem solving, the politics of the global village, and the implications of this new Age of Information.
The Business School has been accredited by AACSB International, which represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. AACSB evaluates our entire program, including our curriculum, research, internships, as well as our faculty and teaching methods. When it comes time to find a job, being able to say you graduated from a nationally accredited school of business will go a long way.Community outreach efforts enable students to work with our outstanding faculty to design software projects; provide small business consulting; develop advertising and public relations campaigns; and perform marketing research. We offer a variety of resources: advisory groups, clubs and organizations, newsletters and of course our career planning services. The McGowan School of Business houses the Family Business Forum, which offers education and networking opportunities for students and regional family owned businesses.
