Welcome to the world of Experiential Learning! Whether you are a student exploring the idea of completing an internship, a parent wondering what experiential learning is all about, or an employer trying to determine how an intern will fit in with your work needs, you’ve come to the right place. The King’s College Center for Experiential Learning is eager and prepared to assist you.
During the past 22 years, the Center for Experiential Learning has had the privilege of supervising more than 3400 student interns at over 1300 different sponsoring organizational sites throughout the world. The numbers of interns and employers continue to grow as the concept of “learning by doing” remains an important component in the educational process and the world of work. As you read about these unique opportunities, I know you will sense the excitement and value of participation in the program. The benefits are such that all involved – students, supervisors, and faculty coordinators – are winners!
Best wishes in your exploration of the King’s College Experiential Learning Program. I look forward to assisting you!
